Christmas 2007

So I know I am somewhat delayed at getting this out, but here is how our Christmas went....

The weekend preceeding Christmas, we spent with the Davis family in Indiana. The weekend started out with a huge feast on Friday night with Kris's parents, his brother Mark, Angie, and nephew Jordan, his grandpa and grandma Davis, and his uncle Rodney, aunt Debbie, and cousin Matthew. There was enough food to feed all of us for weeks I think. Then following dinner, we proceeded to open presents. We got a ton of great stuff...well at least I did. Kris decided to for-go his Christmas so that I could have a extra special one by getting a DC-17 "The Animal" Dyson. The vacuum is awesome by the way! Here are some pictures of the night...
Then on Saturday, we spent the day just hanging out with family. We all played a lot of Wii! Sunday was Kris's mom's 50th birthday! We celebrated by going out to dinner a Abuelo's. We surprised her by inviting her sister Francey and her family from Joilet. The dinner and company were great!

We then returned to Ohio on Christmas Eve so that I could work both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Wednesday was my birthday, and I spent most of it sleeping. I did have dinner at Karla's with her family, my parents, my grandma, and Kris. I got a lot of great gifts, especially from Kris. He always spoils me on my birthday. My brother Joel, his wife Kendall, and their little boy Oliver finally arrived on Wednesday at midnight after a nine hour delay in Kansas City. Mitch and Roanna and their family and Amy arrived in Ohio on Thursday. We had my family Christmas at our house on Thursday night.

We spent the rest of the week just hanging out, playing games, shopping, and seeing who was going to get sick next. Despite the craziness of traveling and being sick, we did have wonderful Christmas, especially since we got to spend so much time with family!

How did your house ever recover from that mess?
Nice work on getting a new blog, daily might be a bit too much work though.

Hey guys! I am happy to hear that your Holidays were filled with family fun! Sara-Isn't it funny that getting new cleaning appliances excite us? I got a tile cleaner and could not wait to use it. I heard you got the whole Davis side searching for a Wii. I hope the new year brings many more fun things so that we can read about them in your blog.

Hi guys! Sounds like you had a great Christmas! Jesse and I did as well. We got a lot of great gifts, and got a head start on the baby stuff. We are painting the nursery today, so we are off to home depot. Thanks for keeping us in the loop on your lives! I'll be starting a website soon for Juliana and will let you know that address and such. Tell Kris we said hi!
